Calling all comics! ITV has started the casting calls for talented comedians to perform in the new stand-up comedy reality show called, Show Me The Funny.
According to Digitalspy.com the new program will offer the winning comic a cash prize, a tour promo, and a DVD release.
Show Me The Funny will not showcase popular comedians in a classy lounge with a two drink minimum. It will feature unknown comics heading out to perform at random events and locations, such as a rugby team party. The funniest comedian will be named “Britain’s Next Big Stand-Up”.
“I’m looking for unknown and relatively new comedians that might not necessarily have even done a gig before but might just have what it takes,” said producer Freddie Foss-Smith.
