Skyler Stone is an actor/writer/producer who is taking Hollywood by storm. He first garnered fame by starring in his own Comedy Central series called Con that he also created and executive-produced.
I caught up with Mike right after he returned from New York, filming a segment on Comedy Central’s “Live At Gotham” comedy series. I can remember seeing him perform at an open mic at Pepper Belly’s comedy club in Fairfield in 2004.
I was born in July of 1967 in Honolulu, Hawaii. My Mom and Dad (Arlene and Boyd) held me in their arms and came up with the name “Kermet” (after Kermet Johnson, a football player with the Miami Dolphins). That decision is probably the main reason I became a comedian. You learn to laugh at yourself at an early age when you grow up with the name Kermet. I am the oldest of three. Luckily for my sisters, they both got normal names.
