Comedian Bill Burr tried to follow in his father’s footsteps in the dental industry, but his career choice to become a hygienist came to an end shortly after a new passion was discovered – stand-up comedy. Burr sold out coast-to-coast with his show “Bill Burr: You People Are All The Same,” which premiered in July 2010 at Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal.
Burr has performed on The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night With Conan O’Brian, The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brian and Comedy Central Presents. He has made guest appearances on Bob And Tom Show, Opie And Anthony Show, sometimes sitting in for Jim Norton. Since May 2007, Burr has been ranting and raving about the world of comedy, sports, relationships, religion, politics, customer service, and conspiracy theories in his hour long Monday Morning Podcast.
Burr’s recent project, an hour-long comedy special entitled: “Why Do I Do This?” that aired on Comedy Central is now available in stores and on this web site. But what’s better than to see him live? If you are in New York area – you are in luck. The legendary Caroline’s on Broadway is giving you a slice of heaven Friday, May 20 through Sunday, May 22 where Burr will be performing.
