Brian Scott Jagger is the author and director of the full-length comedic play “The Interviews” which was nominated “Best Original Script” by the Sacramento Area Regional Theater Alliance (SARTA) for the 2008-09 theater season. He is also the writer/director of the 2009 Sacramento Comedy Spot’s “Best Original Comedic Short Video” winner entitled “Marriage Keepers”.
As a stand-up, Jagger has performed at clubs in the Sacramento area including the Sacramento Comedy Spot, Tommy T’s and Bunjos in Dublin. Jagger’s play “The Interviews”, which sold out every show of it’s original run in early 2009, will be running at Magic Circle Theater in Roseville in March of 2010, again with Jagger directing.
Jagger’s live stand-up show features many personal accounts of his struggle with weight and his recent loss of 128lbs after having gastric bypass surgery. He also discusses getting married at 19, staying married 12 years, and about other fun and entertaining thoughts and stories.
