Crystal Cruises is taking along the Canadian improvisational comedy troupe, Vancouver TheatreSports™ League (VTSL), to Alaska this summer. Crystal Symphony’s July 8 and July 20 Alaska cruises will have the comedy troupe not only entertain, but also arrange participatory improv workshops.
“We tested the troupe in December and the ratings were through the roof,” said manager Chris Corrigall. ”They’re quick, smart and clever and created a lot of onboard buzz. When guests eagerly anticipate the next performance, you know you have a winner.”
The league combines the elements of comedy and tragedy, similar to the dynamics of The Second City. VTSL has over 30 years of experience behind their belt, performing on stage and television globally, giving five shows a night in Vancouver, in addition to 250 international private events annually.
The 12-day Alaska itineraries start at $4,890/person, and include air transportation from 24 North American gateways (or generous air credit); $500/person “All Inclusive—As You Wish” spending credits. For more information visit www.crystalcruises.com
