The late night host and comedienne Chelsea Handler is slowly making her way on the big screen. She is in the middle of negotiations to join the cast of the new teen comedy “Fun Size.”
Handler will play a mother to a bratty teenager played by Victoria Justice ( Zoey 101 and Victorious) who takes her younger brother trick-or-treating on Halloween and loses him. She has to find the child before her mother discovers that he is missing.
The scribe behind the project is Colbert Report writer Max Werner. Producer Josh Schwartz (Chuck, Gossip Girl) will make this his directorial debut and will partner with Stephanie Savage (Fake Empire) as well as Bard Dorros and David Kanter (Anonymous Content).
The project is going to be shot around Cleveland, OH area.
Handler recently appeared in Universal’s live-action hybrid Hop and This Means War romantic action comedy, starring Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, Tom Hardy in the can.
