Chris Lilley Banned from Facebook after Posting Picture of His Genitals

In the past few days, Chris Lilley’s fans have proven to be fiercely loyal people with slightly freaky senses of humor. You would have to possess a slightly off-beat perspective on humor to appreciate Lilley’s various works from Angry Boys to Summer Heights High, some of Australia’s most celebrated, yet blue, TV comedies. This week the creator and star of these shows was banned from Facebook for posting a picture in which he exposes a little too much skin, according to one Facebook user who reported the photo.
Lilley and his fans have not taken the news sitting down. Yesterday, Lilley reported via Twitter that he has been punished for posting the picture of his genitals with a 30 day ban from posting on his Facebook wall. Fans have demonstrated an outpouring of support on Twitter with the hash tag campaign, “#FreeChrisLilleysNuts.” Lilley has embraced his fans’ support by retweeting and reblogging their messages, gifs and memes.
Thankfully, the ban is not permanent. Until it’s lifted, catch Lilley’s new project to create a Summer Heights High soundtrack at TheSummerHeightsHighProject.com. And while you are waiting for Lilley to start posting on Facebook again, his other social media sites should be enough to fulfill your vulgar comedy needs. You can find him on Tumblr: www.chrislilley.com and Twitter: @ChrisLilley.
And lastly, follow his Instagram account (@chrislilley) to for some artsy, sepia-filtered images of his nuts.
