Chris Rock on Touring with Dave Chappelle: ‘We Will See’

While the movie took up much of his brief appearance, it didn’t stop him from reviving a long recurring rumor than he and fellow comedian Dave Chappelle might actually go on tour together.

“Me and Chappelle have been working out, trying to get some stuff together,” Rock said about the possible tour. “But we will see.”

Earlier this year, Rock, inspired by Jay-Z and Kanye West’s joint tour, said he had been working on getting Chappelle to join him. ”I’ve been talking to Chappelle a lot,” Rock revealed.

When or if these two comedians ever announce they’re gong on tour together, the collective internet will explode! For the sake of comedy and comedy fans everywhere, let’s hope it happens soon. Chappelle still seems to be in a reclusive mode, although he has performed recently in southern California and Austin, Texas, where hecklers gave him a hard time.

You can watch Rock talk about his new movie with TODAY host Matt Lauer below.
