Chris Rock Plays Midwife, But Not On Stage

Women know that pregnancy isn’t easy. Men realize that too, however, they don’t have to do all the work. But going into labor could be a breeze, if someone is there to entertain you, especially if it’s Chris Rock himself.

A mom-to-be went into labor in the middle of a very busy shopping mall in New Jersey. Rock, 45, who was shopping in the nearby Neiman Marcus, ran to the woman to keep her calm. He told her jokes, and overall gave an  A+ performance to the woman until the paramedics arrived.

“He was making the crowd and the woman in labor laugh. She recognized who he was immediately and he stayed there until the paramedics took her away,” an eyewitness told US weekly.

Rock himself is a father of two girls and a husband of 14 years to Malack Compton-Rock. Being the only male in the family, apparently, taught him well how to keep females calm in any situation.

There are no reports on the mother and the baby, but I have a feeling that child will have a great sense of humor.
