Conan made sure he did not “Leno” George Lopez!

Early reports and online bloggers were fast to call Conan’s’ move to TBS him a “Leno” on George Lopez. Meaning, Conan was forcing himself into a slot already occupied by George Lopez. Basically bullying Lopez to the 12am slot.
Which, according to George Lopez, could not be further from the truth. The way its being told now is before any decisions were made, TBS execs wanted Lopez to contact Conan personally to extend the invitation to TBS. And it was settled.
Once Lopez and Conan ironed everything out: The late night powerhouse of TEAM “LoCo” was formed!
I’m personally excited to see what shennanigans they get into, especially in the first weeks on the air together.
TEAM LoCo FOREVER!
