Get An Early Preview of Comedian Kevin Smith’s ‘Burn in Hell’ on EPIX

Kevin Smith returns to EPIX taunting the world with his magnetic good looks. I’m not the only one who think so, apparently. The director/actor/ comedian/ writer/ paleontologist/ cat lover/ and of course part time philanthropist (ok the last three are not true), has sinned and must “Burn in Hell!” Well, kind of – Smith performed in a one man show which is called “Kevin Smith: Burn in Hell”.
There will be an on demand preview provided for Kevin Smith fans all over to see the entire special early on February 3rd! If you are highly tempted to catch a glimpse early, you can check out Television Providers’ EPIX onDemand service or EPIX apps on XBOX 360 or Roku. For those of you that don’t own a gaming device, why not scope out EPIXHD.com where you will be able to stream the “TV Everywhere” portals of affiliated providers.
The special lasts an hour and a half and was recorded live at the Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas. A Q&A session unravels within the show, where Smith provides a good amount of stomach aches from laughing at his latest movie, Red State. Some discussions pin pointed the debacles and misadventures that occurred during the filming process such as “drawing the ire of the entire movie blogger community at the Sundance Film Festival and being followed around the country by the highly devout, and highly angered, Phelps Family,” which was stated after it’s press release earlier.
In October of 2010, the Jay and Silent Bob director premiered his last special, “Too Fat for Forty” on EPIX which prompted the enthusiasm of millions of online based fans for a Q&A on EpixHD.COM. EPIX president and CEO Mark Greenberg stated, “Kevin is tremendously popular with EPIX viewers – his first special continues to be a top performer on the channel, on demand and on EpixHD.com. We’re glad that he’s been a part of EPIX since the beginning and excited to have him back.” He continued his praise, expressing, “The EPIX preview is designed to tap Kevin’s audience appeal to cast a spotlight on ‘TV Everywhere,’ increasing app and online authentications and subscriber acquisition for our affiliated providers.”
Don’t miss this EPIX original comedy that will be premiering on February 11! Watch a clip from “Burn in Hell” here:
