Gotye’s Catchy Song and Belly Flopping Fails

There’s a scene in the movie Tommy Boy where David Spade and Chris Farley are out on the open road and trying to find some goods tunes to listen to. They land on a station that starts playing “Superstar” by The Carpenters. The two tell one another to switch to a different station because the song sucks, but they seem hesitant to do so. Cut to the next scene where both characters are singing the chorus at the top of their lungs. This Youtube video has a similar scenario but with that Gotye Song “Somebody That I Used to Know.” Hey, deny it all you want. You know you sing along whenever that song comes on.

Running into walls, tripping on rocks and other various ways of pain ain’t got nothing on belly flopping. Belly flops may be in the top ten most uncomfortable things to do. So instead of participating in the hurtful act this summer, how about we just watch the pros do it.
