Bill Hader tells his story of how he got to be on Satuday Night Live on Last Call with Carson Daly, according to Splitsider.
Hader explains how Nick Offerman from Parks and Recreation, Megan Mullally, Lorne Michaels, and his last minute impression of Tony Blair landed him as a castmember on SNL.
“The morning of my audition they called and said, ‘Oh, we want to see a political impression but it can’t be George Bush.” So I just turned on CSPAN and I’m like what can I do? And I saw Tony Blair talking,” Hader explained to Carson Daly.
Hader is best known from his hilarious characters on Saturday Night Live such as, Vinny Vedecci, Weekend Updates’ Stefon, his work in SNL’s digital shorts, and can be seen in the new movie Paul with Nick Frost and Simon Pegg.
