Humblebragging with Parks and Rec; Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s Attack Ad (Watch)

amy poehler, parks and recreation, cast, humblebraggingParks and Recreation writer Harris Wittels is in need of some help expressing the word, “Humblebrag” for his new book of the same title. Because humblebragging is “the art of false modesty,” the best way to interpret the word would be through giving some extreme examples. With the help of three of Pawnee, Indiana’s finest, our search for a definition will be over. Nick Offerman, Adam Scott, and Chris Pratt all put their humblebrags to work which subtly let us now how amazing their life is with a dash of “it kind of sucks.”

At the Emmy’s on Sunday night, Eric Stonestreet was nominated for his role on Modern Family for “Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.”  Also nominated in the same category was Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays along side Stonestreet as his lover on the show.Ferguson, being an actual gay man playing a gay man on the show, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and premiered his new attack ad against Stonestreet. Because Stonestreet is a straight man playing a gay man on Modern Family, he could only be “Stealing all the Gay American Jobs away from Gay Americans.” Of course Ferguson was only kidding, but maybe next year will be the year he shows the straight men. Be sure to tune in to the new season of Modern Family every Wednesday.
