Jane Lynch Shares Her Opinion of Chick-Fil-A

Jane Lynch, Chick-Fil-A, Roast, Comedy Central, Roseanne Barr, Roast MasterGlee star Jane Lynch has proven once again that she is not afraid to share her opinions in a crude and delightfully unladylike manner.  On Saturday, the comedian took a stab at Chick-Fil-A at the Comedy Central roast of Roseanne Barr.

Last week, Chick-Fil-A had its first ever Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day due to its newly announced anti-gay stance. Lynch, herself, is a lesbian. She married her partner Dr. Laura Embry in 2010.  In fact, The Inquisitr reports that the comedian wrote her book, Happy Accidents, about their relationship.

Lynch was the Roast Master for the event and before introducing Barr she took a few jabs at the roasters.  At first, Lynch poked fun at Katey Sagal, Ellen Barkin and Carrie Fisher and finished off by sharing her opinion about the chicken sandwich franchise.

“This show is serving up more old spoiled hens than a Chick-Fil-A,” Lynch joked. She added, “Oh that reminds me…Fuck Chick-Fil-A.”

Lynch was not the only roaster to touch on current events, but she started the evening off strongly, talking about an issue that hit close to her home. Of course, we all know that she would fight back in her own unique way.

The Roast of Roseanne will air on Comedy Central on August 12 at 10 p.m. EST.
