Jon Hamm and Larry David Set to Co-Star in an Upcoming Comedy

Have you ever wondered what a movie with Jon Hamm and Larry David would be like? You will soon find out as both men are set to co-star in an upcoming comedy film.

Showbiz411 reports that the currently untitled film will be directed by Gregg Motolla (Superbad) and a “scrip-meant” (a script/treatment) is currently being worked on by David and his Seinfeld/Curb Your Enthusiasm writers. David is set to play a “Larry David like character” that will get into the same kind of situations that his character on Curb Your Enthusiasm does. Hamm is set to play the part of David’s nemesis.

Not much has been released on the nature of the script, but it already sounds hilarious to me. While Hamm is best known for his work on Mad Men he has been making a name for himself in the comedy world with his hilarious stints on 30 Rock and Saturday Night Live. He is also set to star in director Paul Feig’s (Bridesmaids) Dumb Jock opposite Melissa McCarthy.

The film is set to shoot this fall. No release date has been set. Do you think the pairing of Hamm and David will be comedy gold?
