Kevin Hart To Appear in Remake of ‘About Last Night…’

kevin hart, jim belushiFresh off the success of the ensemble comedy Think Like a Man, stand-up comedian/actor Kevin Hart is set to appear in an upcoming remake of the 1986 Rob Lowe/Demi Moore comedy-drama About Last Night…

Laughspin reports very few details have been released about the project thus far. Hart will be playing the role of Bernie, the best friend of the main character, who was played by Jim Belushi in the original. Lesley Headland (Bachelorette) is set to write the screenplay. There is no word as to who will direct or play the Rob Lowe/Demi Moore parts.

Based on the David Mamet play Sexual Perversity in Chicago the movie is about a couple who pursue a romantic relationship after a one night stand, despite the disapproval of their friends. The original was a box office success grossing over $38 million in the US.

Do you think that Hart will make a good replacement for Belushi? Who would you like to see in the lead roles?
