Larry the Cable Guy Surprise Visits the Palins in Alaska

larry the cable guyOn a recent trip to Anchorage, Alaska for his show at the George M. Sullivan Sports Arena, comedian Dan Whitney, more commonly known as “Larry the Cable Guy,” decided to make a surprise visit to one of his most famous fans.

When hearing that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was a fan of his comedy, the “Git-ir-Done” comic figured he’d “crash her house.”

After Whitney and his camera crew managed to get onto the Palin’s property, he had a great conversation with “the nicest guy in the world,” Todd Palin. While chatting, Whitney says he caught a glimpse of the former governor in an unexpected outfit with an unexpected compliment.

“She comes out of the back of house in red sweatpants and she goes, ‘Larry, I just want you to know: I’m a huge fan, and I’m going to go leave you a note on your van,’” said Whitney while appearing on Live with Regis and Kelly. “And I’m, like, going, ‘Did that just happen?’ And so, sure enough, she went down to the van and left me a really nice note on my van saying she was a fan.”
