Louis C.K. Admits Dane Cook is a “Good Guy”

In a recent interview with Deadline, Louis C.K. stated that he does not have any ill feelings toward Dane Cook over the plagiarism controversy from a couple of years ago. In fact, he does not believe that Cook intentionally stole material from him.
“I think he sort of got some of my jokes in his head and got sloppy. He’s a good guy and not capable of maleficence,” said C.K.
The controversy started in 2006 when fans and critics noticed that a couple of jokes from Cook’s 2006 album Retaliation sounded similar to material by C.K. Cook has denied these allegations and C.K. remained silent on the matter until last year when he dramatized it on his FX series Louie.
“What I wrote for Dane and me on camera represents what each other feels about the situation. The only difference is that he’s not angry about it. Neither of us really care,” said C.K.
So the disagreement has been settled. Neither comic cares and both retain their stance on the issue. Another thing they have in common? A history of bad facial hair.
Why isn’t anyone talking about that?
