Comedian Louis C.K. is coming to network television on a regular basis.
Fans of the extremely successful comic will be happy to know that C.K. has landed a deal with CBS to create a new sitcom. According to the Hollywood Reporter the plots revolves around, “an ensemble of young people who are trying to achieve their creative dreams in these tough financial times.”
C.K.’s partner on his FX show Louie, Spike Feresten, will also help create and executive produce the show.
All of this comes off the heels of an interview C.K. did where he said of his FX show, “I don’t need this shit.” According to the comedian, “You have to be willing not to do the show. If you’re concerned with success too much, you make all kinds of decisions and compromises than you hurt the story that you’re doing.”
This probably means we’re more excited about C.K.’s new show than he is, but so be it. This sitcom is the most interesting addition to the CBS lineup in years.
