MTV’s New Comedy Series “Death Valley”

death valley, comedy, comedy news, mtvI keep seeing Death Valley previews on MTV and I’ve got to say, I am quite amused. This show is said to look like ”The Dawn of the Dead meets Comedy Central’s Reno 911.” The new show Stars MAD TV’s Bryan Callen and a bunch of newbies to the screen.

Death Valley is about a group of law enforcement officials who are trying to protect the Los Angeles area from monsters. Yes, monsters. Not just any monsters, but mystical ones. We’ve got your werewolves, your vampires, and your zombies. The crime rate has rose to an all new high in the hairy, bloody, and decaying creature filled town and it is up to the cops to keep it at bay.

One star of the show, Caity Lotz, said, “It gets pretty gross! There’s definitely like camera guys with bags, like having to cover everything, cause there’s blood squirting into the air, and…it’s cool, it’s pretty cool. It gets pretty gross.”

The first episode just aired a couple hours ago, and if you haven’t watched it already, just head on over to MTV.com. They already have the Pilot waiting for you. There also bonus clips and “sneak peaks.” According to MTV the show will re-run Wednesday, Aug. 31st.
