When Pablo Francisco jolts himself onto the stage, his unmatched energy and creativity bring his audiences to their feet with boisterous laughter and applause. Francisco’s fan base is exploding worldwide, making him one of the internet’s most viral comics. Francisco’s enormous popularity has driven his MySpace Comedy page into the top 25 out of 33,000, placing Pablo’s page in the top three most visited on the site. His MySpace video views tally over a million and continue to increase by 50,000 hits per month, and his outrageous laugh-getting material has hooked over 10 million viewers on YouTube. Pablo is so virally spread that his appeal has not only taken the US by storm, but has spread across Europe as well. Francisco was met with an overwhelming welcome in Sweden and Amsterdam where he was swarmed by adoring fans. His sold out concert tour overseas was so successful it attracted those who spoke English as their second language. One show sold out over 10,000 tickets in just 6 minutes, proving Pablo is truly an international comedy cult phenomenon.
It is not uncommon to sense the anticipation of Pablo’s audience as his fans await their favorite impressions, while being surprised by his unpredictable transformations. Those who experience Pablo’s show for the first time find themselves captivated by his hilarious dead on impressions. Gene Lavanchy of FOX – TV Boston calls Pablo “the most talented comedian in the business today.” His unbelievable ability to physically morph himself into movie stars, singers, friends, family and a multitude of nationalities give Pablo’s show a universal appeal. His rendition of the intensely melodramatic Spanish language soap operas on Telemundo and his narration of the action-movie preview with Arnold Schwarzenegger as a tortilla vendor bring screams of laughter coast to coast. This gifted performer continues to thrive on his creativity and the spontaneity of stand-up comedy, selling out concert venues, universities and comedy clubs alike. Pablo continually pushes the envelope, constantly writing and refining new material.
In 2006 he starred in his own critically acclaimed one hour special on Comedy Central entitled, “OUCH!” DVD TALK calls “OUCH!” “Truly original and funny.” In addition to his Comedy Central specials Pablo has appeared on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” Comedy Central’s “The Show Biz Show w/ David Spade,” “Mind of Mencia,” and has been a cast member on the Fox Network’s sketch comedy show “Mad TV.” Pablo has loaned his voice talents to FOX’s animated feature “Family Guy,” and has hosted TBS’s “Late Night Laughs” sponsored by Sierra Mist. This talented performer has entertained hundreds at the Montreal Comedy Festival, and the HBO/Sierra Mist Las Vegas Comedy Festival. Francisco was nominated for Comedian of the Year by the American Comedy Awards and has starred in national commercials for Church’s Chicken, Coca Cola and Citibank with Elton John. Francisco can be seen regularly as the host of Latino Laugh Festival “The Show” on SiTV. Pablo co-starred in Paul Rodriguez’ “Comedy Rehab” in May, 2009.
