Pamela Anderson to Play Virgin Mary in Canadian Comedy Special

pamela andersonIt’s irony and comedy at its best. Former Playboy Playmate Pamela Anderson has been cast for the role of the Virgin Mary in a Canadian comedy special for CTV and Comedy network.

Anderson, a native Canadian, will play the mother of Jesus Christ in a comedic version of the nativity story entitled, A Russell Peters Christmas Special, which is scheduled to air December 1. Peters will play her husband Joseph.

A Russell Peters Christmas Special will also feature Michael Bublé, Ted Lange (The Love Boat), Saturday Night Live alumnus Jon Lovitz and Scott Thompson (The Kids in the Hall).

Produced in partial by Round 2 It Entertainment, the show will be a mixture of stop-motion animation, musical performances and stand-up and sketch comedy.

The former Baywatch star better pull out her best acting skills if she’s to make us believe she’s a virgin.
