Patrick Stewart Takes over Daily Show as Senior Replacement Correspondent

The mind boggling and mind manipulating mutant is back. Its been a while since we’ve seen anything from the legendary Patrick Stewart. It must because of his new cause: fighting against the tyranny down at The Daily Show.

A few nights ago Patrick reminded The Daily Show viewers exactly why he’s so damn awesome. From his sophisticatedly cool “shaken not stirred” demeanor to his hilariously renowned and prolific Shakespearian conduct, Patrick proved to Jon Stewart that he was the perfect fit for “Senior Replacement Correspondent.”

Patrick was so convincing in fact that Jon was enticed to offer him a full time position in lieu of Oliver’s apparent strike and drab comparison to Patrick. Of course after hearing how much he would be compensated Patrick only had one thing to say, “No f—king way! I am on strike.”

Although he is not really replacing his evolutionary lesser counterpart John Oliver on The Daily Show, Patrick proves that even the considerably awesome and legendary have a funny bone or two.
