There’s a new flick on the horizon from NALA Films. Steve Carr, who is responsible for Paul Blart: Mall Cop, is taking the reins to direct The Boondoggle.
Thomas Lennon and Rob Riggle will star in the comedy that revolves around a couple of guys who attend a boondoggle business trip. What could possibly go wrong on the island-paradise setting? Well, everything.
It’s a joint collaboration from NALA’s Emilio Diez Barroso and Darlene Caamano Loquet, who are producing the movie together with Joe Roth, Palak Patel and Barrett Stuart. Lennon and Riggle rewrote the script by Christopher Brian Halvorson, who did the first draft.
Currently Riggle is shooting 21 Jump Street. He also had a part in the upcoming Tom Hanks’ movie Larry Crowne. Lennon going to appear in Bad Teacher, starring Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake, out on June 24 in theaters everywhere.
The Boondoggle is scheduled to shoot in late summer.
