SiriusXM Raw Dog Comedy Launches A New Show

On June 6 Sirius XM Radio announced the launch of the new and exclusive hour-long weekly show Live from UCB Theatre that would feature improv, stand-up and sketch comedy performances recorded live at the Upright Citizen Brigade Theater, on Raw Dog Comedy, channel 99.

Live from UCB Theatre will premiere on Saturday, June 11 at 11:00 pm ET. It will then air on Saturday nights at 11:00 pm ET with a special encore on Mondays at 7:00 pm ET. Each week listeners will hear a different comedy show performed on UCB stage.

“This is just one step in our secret evil plan to take over the world! Oops,” said Amy Poehler, founding member of UCB. “We were always told we had a face for radio. We just never knew it would be satellite.”

The series will kick off with a variety show “Totally J/K,” hosted by Joe Mande and Noah Garfinkel with guest appearances from one of the best comedians New York City could offer.

The series will also include a broadcast of “The Roast of Justin Bieber,” that would feature UCB founding member Matt Besser, Chelsea Lately’s Guy Branum and Ali Waller.

Since SiriusXM Raw Dog Comedy features uncensored comedy, do not expect it to be clean and polite. It’s raw, it’s straight forward, it’s comedy sans sugar coating.
