SpongeBob SquarePants (Tom Kenny) Signed on for Daniel Tosh’s ‘Brickleberry’

daniel tosh, comedian, comedy centralThe animation world is gearing up for something big.  SpongeBob SquarePants’ voice Tom Kenny has signed on to be a part of Daniel Tosh’s new project, an animated series called Brickleberry that will premiere on Comedy Central September 25.

LaughSpin.Com reported that Brickleberry focuses on “the antics of a group of dysfunctional park rangers tasked with saving their national park from closure.”  The show was co-created by Waco O’Guin and Roger Black, and will be executive produced by Tosh himself.

Tom Kenny is not the only star who will be joining Tosh’s animated antics.  There are also some big names from several comedy TV series such as: Mad TV, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Mr. Show.  Other stars such as David Herman, Jerry Minor and Kaitlin Olson will also be voices in the series.  InsideTV reported that Tosh will be the voice of the crude, adorable bear Malloy.

Very short sneak peeks of the upcoming project have been shown in new episodes of Tosh.0, and Tosh promises to continue to do so for the rest of the season, reported LaughSpin.

I bet Tosh.0 fans are just itching to fast-forward the calendar to September so they can enjoy more of Tosh’s genius. Check out some early stand-up from Tosh here, courtesy of YouTube:
