Stephen Colbert Voted One of Maxim’s ’100 Most Beautiful Women in the World’

stephen colbert, maxim, most beautiful peopleRanked at a symbolic “69,” Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert, host of The Colbert Report, was inexplicably voted one of Maxim’s “100 Most Beautiful Women in the World.”

Maxim explained how it happened by saying, “Democracy isn’t always pretty: Sometimes it’s downright handsome. With a massive write-in vote campaign, the Colbert Nation proved they’re not only loyal but also incredibly horny.”

This year was the first time Maxim readers could vote on who they viewed as the world’s “100 Most Beautiful Women,” and the Colbert Nation assembled to vote for their leader.

The Huffington Post had an interesting take on Colbert’s achievement. They wrote that, “We couldn’t help but think Colbert’s cause was helped by the fact that our own Arianna Huffington recently bestowed upon Colbert the title of “Honorary Woman.”

Pretty strange for the comedian to take two awards naturally bestowed upon only females.

After all these accomplishments, we can’t wait to see what’s next for Colbert and his team! Maxim’s Hot 100 issue is now out in stores and online www.Maxim.Com. You can check out The Colbert Report weeknights on Comedy Central.
