Steve Rannazzisi at The Comedy Store

Headlines September 17 – 18

“People don’t like hanging out around a smart-ass.” That’s what a Catholic school teacher told Stephen Rannazzisi growing up in Long Island, New York. Stephen went on to prove her wrong by “hanging out” or “pissing off” many different celebrities on MTV’s Punk’d.

Stephen grew up on Long Island and graduated from a SUNY college with a degree in Theater. After graduation, he left for Los Angeles to pursue the only career he was suited for–entertaining. Stephen got a job as a doorman at the world-famous Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard. It was there that he honed his skills amongst some of the most prolific comics in the business, such as Eddie Griffin, Joe Rogan, and Andrew Dice Clay.

All the hard work has started to pay off as the Hollywood industry has begun to take notice. Stephen received his big break as a cast member on Punk’d. Some of his memorable appearances include towing Tracy Morgan’s Jag, stealing Missy Elliot’s “bling” and hitting Outkast with an enormous bill for crashing the “millennium falcon” of cars, the Maybach. He has guest starred in the Fox series Kitchen Confidential, performed on Comedy Central’s Premium Blend, and was a series regular in the ABC series Big Day and See Jayne Run. Steve starred opposite Eddie Murphy in the Paramount feature Nowhereland. Most recently Steve starred as Kevin in the hit FX series “The League”.
