Kevin Munroe is a regular at Punchline San Francisco and is a fast rising star in the Bay Area comedy scene. Munroe was was born in Trinidad which give him a unique perspective and a really cool accent (chicks dig it.)

Kevin will be joined by sardonic NY comic Chris Laker and a crew of Sacramento’s best including Ellis Rodriguez, John Alston, and as always, host Keith Lowell Jensen.

This Bay Area favorite, known locally as The Buddhist in The Coexist? Comedy Tour which played The Crest Theater for the second time a couple of months back, is one of the funniest young comics to hit the scene in recent memory.

“In June 2007, the first month of his stand up career, Sammy instantly advanced from preliminary rounds to semi-finals to the finals of the 2007 San Jose Improv Comedy Competition, where he ultimately competed against nine of the Bay Area’s fiercest comedians. Within his first year in comedy he won first place in the 2008 Rooster T Feathers Comedy Competition, and within his first two years he won first place in the 2008 San Jose Improv Comedy Competition, first place in the 2009 Killer Laughs Competition, first place in the 2009 Vallejo Comedy Competition, and 2nd in Wild 94.9′s Best Comic Standing Competition.

Sammy has played at some of the world’s most renowned comedy venues and has opened for Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, and Russel Peters. Having graduated from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business while simultaneously earning a degree in Applied Mathematics with emphasis in Probability Theory (all done with a G.P.A of 3.9091, but who’s counting anyway?), Sammy is fully equipped to lead a career in living with his parents and memorizing girls’ facebook pages.”
