Bath Salt’s one hell of a drug. The recent spree of zombie/cannibal attacks occurring from ingesting a street drug “Bath Salts” is comedic gold, which Andy Samberg utilized on a recent guest spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night. Samberg created a mock PSA announcement discussing the importance of not eating your fellow man…or your dog.

The announcement parody included Samberg introducing Citizens Are Not Naturally Ingested By Americans League (C.A.N.N.I.B.A.L), Roland Gift of The Fine Young Cannibals, and references the face-eating attack that happened in Miami, Florida calling the attacker a “white-trash Hannibal Lecter.” His simple solution being “Don’t Eat People” and “Do Eat Things That Are Not People.”

Despite the controversy over the parody PSA coming too soon, Samberg is continuing his ability to crack up fans by mocking current events and pop culture with these series of bizarre events. This is more than welcome since his departure form Saturday Night Live and in the wake of trying to make sense of the world. Sometimes all you can do is mock.

Comedian Louis C.K Cast in Upcoming Woody Allen Film

Last week, the non-profit organization Malaria No More put on a live show called Hollywood Bites Back at the Nokia Theater. With the help of many celebrities that began the campaign by creating a series of viral PSAs, the organization is marching strong towards its goal to end malaria in Africa by 2015.

Thanks to comedians like Sarah Silverman, Conan O’Brien, Elizabeth Banks, and The Office star B.J. Novak an impressive amount of $750,000 was raised to aide the cause. Despite the fact that the disease was eradicated six decades ago in the United States, it still kills a whopping 800,000 people in Africa each year. Educating people about malaria which is fully treatable and preventable with simple steps is one of the main objectives of the campaign.

Malaria No More co-founder Ray Chambers who was named to TIME’s 100 Most Influential List for his work has strong backers like Matt Damon, Gary White, and Colin Firth to help him fight the disease.

The highlights from the event will be available on Monday, April 25th, which World Malaria Day. Saving Africa one laugh at a time is the way to go, providing mosquito nets wouldn’t hurt either.

On April 16 many celebrities will take stage at the Nokia Theater L.A. Live to help the non- profit organization Malaria No More raise awareness and benefit the cause.

Conan O’Brian, Elizabeth Banks, David Arquette and B.J. Novak will join many other comedians and entertainers for a night of laughter, performing sketches, stand-ups and musical numbers in a program Hollywood Bites Back! Although malaria was obliterated in the USA over 60 years ago, it still flourishes in most countries of African continent. The disease, though preventable and fully treatable, continues to claim lives, especially among children under the age of five.

“I am honored to have been asked to take part in this important event. I just hope that we can find a better cure for malaria than comedy,” said Conan O’Brien.

Hollywood Bites Back! is an extension of Comedy Fights Malaria campaign that began in October 2010 where series of viral PSAs were created by celebrities like John Mayer, Jeremy Piven, Orlando Bloom, Ted Denson and others to approach a no-laughing matter with a smile.

The tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com and Nokia Theater L.A.Live box office. General admission begins at $10.00. All proceeds will go to Malaria No More organization that is determined to end the disease in Africa by 2015.
