The Daily Show And The Colbert Report Could Be Back On The Web

Hulu is a blessing from the internet. It’s an answer to prayers for those who do not have cable or TIVO, or both. The fact that anyone in the US can watch a TV show online at his/her convenience makes us feel a little like a Superman/Wonder Woman without paying extra.
Unfortunately, not every show we like stays up there, and when parties do not reach a certain financial agreement, a program is then yanked off the site. “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report,” which were the two most popular shows on Hulu at the time, have been absent for almost a year now due to a disagreement between Hulu and Comedy Central (The all about funny network wanted to charge a fee for viewing, and Hulu didn’t).
But we might just see the light at the end of this tunnel. According to New York Times report, executives at both companies are negotiating about putting the shows back on the site. One of the ideas to consider could be Hulu Plus, the monthly subscription service that Hulu now provides.
Lets keep our fingers crossed that greed will not prevail, and we’ll have our favorite shows back on the internet for free.
