Tracy Morgan Hospitalized in Denver Before Performance

Tracy Morgan is sick as a dog. The poor guy has found himself passing out all over the place in the past couple months due to mysterious illnesses.
In recent news, the 30 Rock star was supposed to perform at Comedy Works, a venue in Denver, Colorado Saturday night but was unable to because of flu-like symptoms and dehydration. It’s not that Morgan decided to ditch his show over a little cold; he was in such bad shape the he was rushed to the hospital where, after being treated for a couple hours, he was finally released.
Morgan was pictured soon after at the Denver International airport being transported by a wheelchair on his way back to New York. One of his reps told E! News that the comedian was doing “fine” and actually had the flu before arriving.
Feeling guilty for being unable to attend and perform his stand-up routine, the comic tweeted, “Feeling a little better.. had to call in sick on Saturday. I’m sorry I had to cancel. Love you Denver. I’ll make it up to you.”
A tid bit of medical history on Morgan entails that in the nineties, the 43-year-old comic was diagnosed with Diabetes and since then he has been in and out of the hospital. In 2010 he had a kidney transplant. And in January he was honored at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards dinner at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah but collapsed from what Morgan’s reps suggested was “exhaustion” and “altitude sickness.” He tweeted at the time saying the high altitude “shook up this kid from Brooklyn.”
What can we say other than we love you Tracy and we wish you a quick recovery. Oh, and stay away from high places.
