Trust Us, This Is All Made Up, a feature-length documentary exploring the legendary long-form improvisation of Second City alumni TJ Jagodowski and David Pasquesi. The critically-acclaimed film world premiered at the 2009 SXSW Film Festival and now is premiering in Sacramento at the Guild Theater. This showing is brought to you by Movies on a Big Screen at The Guild.

Jagodowski and Pasquesi have become living legends in their field, recognized by audiences around the world for their character-driven, hilarious and original performances. Trust Us gracefully illustrates the beauty of improvisation and the comedic bond between one of the most celebrated improv duos. Trust Us features an unforgettable live performance recorded at New York’s Barrow Street Theatre.

“Individually, TJ and David are masters of their craft. Together, they take improv to another level,” remarked director Alex Karpovsky. “It was amazing to get a front row seat to true creative genius at work. I look forward to working with B-Side Films to share TJ and David‟s artistic energy and comedic wit with the world.”

“TJ and Dave are legends and Alex has done an incredible job capturing the intimacy of their work in Trust Us,” said B-Side Founder and CEO Chris Hyams. “There is no doubt that improv fans will look on this film as their Holy Grail but even those who are new to improv will have a blast watching TJ and Dave work their magic.”
