Upcoming ‘Arrested Development’ Season to Have 13 Episodes!

That’s right! Arrested Development fans can expect more from the show’s upcoming season.
It’s understandable that they add more episodes seeing that there is a lot to tell about the Bluths family. “I think it’s going to be 13 episodes, not 10. There’s too much story,” AD co-star David Cross tells Rolling Stone.
To add more to the excitement, Cross adds that Mitchell Hurwitz, creator of Arrested Development and co-creator of The Ellen Show, has really outdone himself with the next dozen episodes. “I’m not gonna divulge anything, but I know what the stories are and what Mitch is doing, and it’s so layered. It’s really audacious and amazing. I know what he’s doing, and this has never been done on a TV show like this. This makes Lost look like a Spalding Grey monologue. You’ll have to watch each episode more than once.”
It’s been unclear what the premier date of the new season will be. I know many fans are itching to see the interesting, yet dysfunctional family, back onscreen. They have narrowed down the release date to spring of 2013; that’s still pretty vague, but it puts us one step closer to marking the premier date on our calendars!

You shouldn’t print that like it’s a definite thing. He said it might. If it turns out there will only be 10 you’ll have some pissed off fans on your hands.
