Watch a Preview of Zach Galifianakis’ ‘A Fairytale of New York’

Tomorrow night, Comedy Central will debut Zach Galifianakis’ very special, Between Two Ferns: A Fairytale of New York. Included in this deluxe episode of Galifiankis’ hit web series are celebrity interviews with The Daily Show’s Jon Stewart, the mega-rich Sir Richard Branson, and 30 Rock’s Tina Fey.

Comedy Central will air the special directly before the 2012 Comedy Awards, which occurred last weekend but is airing for the first time Sunday night, May 6 at 9:00 PM EST. According to Shreveporttimes, “the (Galifianakis) special is modeled on Barbara Walters’ pre-Oscars interview shows.”

Galifianakis explains that, “We wanted to mock the celebrity obsession that is so annoyingly present in our culture. No one worships that more than Barbara Walters.”

Below is a clip of Galifianakis talking with Stewart talking about the way each other connects with their audiences. As Stewart explains to Zach, “You come across as a big bear of a dip-shit. I feel like people look at you, and they say, ‘Oh my God,’ I’m better than that guy.”
