Now that Ashton Kutcher is joining the cast of “Two And A Half Men,” series creator Chuck Lorre wants to make sure there’s no turning back for Charlie Harper, the character played by Charlie Sheen.
According to TMZ reports, killing off Harper is in talks.
It’s not official yet how Sheen’s character is going to die, but numerous scenarios are being played to ensure that Harper won’t be able to either come back to life or haunt the series from beyond the grave. One of the ideas was to send him off a cliff, which wouldn’t be that far fetched, considering Sheen himself had that kind of experience.
Rumor has it that Sheen has signed a deal with Lionsgate Television. They have offered him to play a role similar to his previous role in “Two And A Half Men.” “Networks and cable are bidding on the show right now, with TBS being the front runner. In other words the show can be raunchier and more outrageous, which is perfect for Charlie!” an insider said to RadarOnline.com.
Although TBS is denying any reports stating that the actor is joining the network. “TBS is not in discussions for a possible project with Charlie Sheen,” said the spokesperson for TBS.
