Will Ferrell and Adam McKay Producing New Comedy ‘I Guess I Do’

Will Ferrell and Adam McKay are bringing more hilarity to NBC. The two comedians, along with McKay’s production company Gary Sanchez Productions, have sold a new single-camera comedy to NBC. This is Gary Sanchez’s second sale to NBC this season.
The show I Guess I Do, focuses on a green card marriage between a psychology grad student and a womanizing British celebrity trainer, Deadline reported. However, the British trainer is not the only one benefitting from the deal: the grad student is using her fake husband as the focus of her dissertation on the modern male.
Ferrell and McKay are set to executive produce I Guess I Do and Funny or Die’s Lauryn Kahn is tabbed to write the script. Kahn started off as McKay’s assistant until she sold her movie script, He’s F***ing Perfect, to Gary Sanchez Productions and then landed a place on Funny or Die, SplitSider reported. Universal Television will produce the show since they are under a deal with Gary Sanchez.
No word yet on when I Guess I Do will begin filming or be scheduled to premiere.
Do you think you will be watching the crazy antics this couple goes through to fake a marriage? My guess is yes!
